Zemadol: A wholesome approach to eczema care
Atopic dermatitis is most commonly found in children, though it occurs in adults as well. The disease is characterised by the appearance of incredibly itchy areas of skin, manifesting as red and inflamed rashes, scaly patches, and other physical blemishes. Eczema can be very painful as itching persists—continuous scratching may result in breaking the skin, bleeding, and possible scarring. Eczema most commonly appears on the knees and elbows.
Eczema is different from psoriasis since it is brought on by skin irritants, such as detergents, as well as by allergic reactions to dust, food, and other allergens. This larger inflammatory picture shows that eczema (also referred to as AD) maintains similarities to asthma as both an inflammatory and autoimmune disease.
The active ingredient is colloidal oatmeal, which supports the skin with a coating layer of polysaccharides that soothes and calms the irritated skin. This is supported with extracts from the Cannabis sativa plant containing a high amount of cannabidiol. Its carefully designed formula protects affected areas of skin against numerous triggers that aggravate AD symptoms.
Liposomes are used in modern medicine, but are likewise important for skin care. Since there are many layers of human skin, liposomes allow for greater coverage of affected areas on both a superficial and deep level.
Do not use Zemadol if you are allergic to any of the product ingredients (see detailed information). Especially those allergic to grasses (Poaceae) should avoid the use of Zemadol. Gluten and/or soy-intolerant individuals should consult their personal healthcare provider prior to use. Oatmeal contains gluten and lecithin is made out of soy.
